Happy 4th of July, on July the 15th!

Emma wants to be a part of the Kazoo Band next year. Got her signed up and she's been practicing playing her Kazoo ever.since.the.parade. My ears are sooore. :)


No parade is complete without the ginormous pink pig wearing her ruffly red tutu. Wonder just how many yards of tulle were used...

We had tons o' fun and are impatiently awaiting the Teddy Bear Parade in December.

Oh, and the gallon bag of candy, no lie, is in the garbage can awaiting it's ride to the dump on Thursday. I'm a meeeaaannn mama, I know.

Since, ahem, May 27th, we:

• graduated from Kindergarden
• went to Build-a-Bear with a few friends from school and spent a small fortune
• started (and still in the process of finishing) The Bathroom Remodel of the Summer-pics to follow once it is all done
• went to Grandma's house and fit in a teesy short trip to Louisiana to visit Aunt Sally
• met Mike the Tiger at the Alexandria Zoo
• started a small eBay store to sell the girlie's Gymboree clothes...isn't it sad that I have to open a STORE what with all the inventory?
